There are 30 Broccoli meme coins currently trading on decentralized exchanges Raydium and PancakeSwap, and hundreds more on meme coin launchpads Pump.fun and Four.meme.
The most profitable project was launched on BSC’s Four.meme, and one trader netted $7 million from a $707 investment, marking a 9,900% return.

BNB Price Stumbles Amidst Broccoli Backlash
Some experts are calling for foul play on the trader’s big win, suggesting that he was an insider, and that’s why he made such significant profits.
“He stole. He most likely launched it. And then he took all of those gamblers’ money,” said Andre Cronje, co-founder of Sonic Labs.
The overall sentiment around CZ’s meme coin stunt has been bearish, likely due to the recent volatile nature of other hype-driven meme coins. This is reflected in the BNB price, which has fallen 4.1% today while other crypto majors are flat.
It’s a sign that people are getting fed up with meme coins launched or endorsed by prominent public figures, usually intended for personal gain.
In CZ’s case, this was to stir up activity on the BSC blockchain. Prior to that, Donald Trump launched a meme coin on which his company profited hundreds of millions of dollars.
