PiChain Global has recently released a significant update to its PCM Wallet, with the new feature of passkey authentication. The new method of logging in simplifies access to the user’s wallet and makes it more secure.
The newest update adds passkey authentication, a secure, passwordless way of logging in. Users no longer need to remember complex passwords and may instead log in using their fingerprint, facial ID, or device PIN. The passkeys are securely stored on the device and encrypted using advanced encryption.
Old-school passwords are vulnerable to phishing, hacking, and keylogging. However, Passkeys provide a more secure and user-friendly method of logging in. It’s supported by technology giants such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft.
As activity within the Pi Network mainnet increases, it is more essential than ever to secure users’ digital property. This update serves to further enhance wallet security, make login easier, and ensure that the PCM Wallet remains in sync with top security practices.
